Spiritual direction
What is spiritual direction?
Spiritual direction is a warm, unhurried space to pay attention to your inner life—and to notice what may be unfolding in your life and faith.
A space to listen
You do not have to have it all figured out.
You may come with a question, a season of change, a sense of distance, or simply a desire to listen more closely. Spiritual direction makes room to slow down, reflect, and speak honestly about what matters most.
Pam’s role is to accompany you with thoughtful attention and gentle questions. She is not there to prescribe answers or direct your decisions, but to help you notice and explore your own experience.
What a session can hold
Bring your life as it is.
- Questions about faith, meaning, or purpose
- A transition, loss, decision, or season of uncertainty
- A desire to recognize what brings life, peace, or connection
- Room for reflection, silence, and honest conversation
There is no required level of certainty or spiritual expertise. The conversation begins with where you are.
A distinct kind of care
Companionship, not therapy.
Spiritual direction is different from counseling. Its focus is spiritual awareness and reflection rather than mental-health diagnosis or treatment. Pam serves as a spiritual companion in this work, not as your therapist.
- Sessions are typically once a month
- Spiritual direction is self-pay
- Sessions are not billed to insurance
